I am a pre-licensed provider working under the supervision of a licensed practitioner.

I believe therapy should be a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and respected. I recognize that reaching out for support can take courage, and I’m here to meet you where you are and help you move toward meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you.
My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your unique needs. I draw from evidence-based treatments, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), trauma-informed care, and Solution-Focused Therapy. I also recognize the important role that culture, identity, family, values, and life experiences play in your mental health and healing journey.
My goal is to help you better understand yourself, develop practical tools for managing life’s challenges, build resilience and confidence, and move toward the life you want to create. Whether you’re working through anxiety, recovering from difficult experiences, adjusting to a new stage of life, or simply looking for a space to grow, I’ll meet you with empathy, authenticity, and respect.
I earned my Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) and Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from Carlos Albizu University in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Since entering the mental health field, I have had the privilege of providing individual, family, and group therapy to children, adolescents, and adults across a variety of clinical settings, including hospitals, community clinics, and telehealth.
My clinical training included working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, chronic pain, health-related concerns, relationship difficulties, and major life transitions. I have particular experience supporting women during pregnancy and the postpartum period, including concerns related to postpartum depression, maternal anxiety, and adjustment to parenthood.
I am trained in evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based interventions, and I also have extensive training in psychological, cognitive, personality, and neuropsychological assessment.
As a pre-licensed provider, I practice under the supervision of Kelly Polnaszek, PhD.
