Cheran Bodry, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Georgia with 19 years of experience supporting individuals through life transitions, relationship challenges, trauma, depression, anxiety, ADHD, and substance use concerns. She works with adolescents, adults, and seniors, offering individual and couples therapy tailored to each client’s needs and goals.
Cheran takes a warm, holistic approach to therapy, helping clients explore how their experiences, relationships, and daily lives influence their emotional well-being. She incorporates evidence-based techniques, mindfulness, and strengths-based perspectives to help clients develop practical coping skills, build healthier relationships, and move toward greater healing, balance, and joy.

I believe therapy should be a warm, supportive space where we can work together toward healing, connection, and greater joy. My approach is holistic, which means I look at the bigger picture of your life, including your relationships, experiences, daily routines, strengths, and the challenges that may be affecting your well-being.
I view therapy as a collaborative process. During our first session, we’ll discuss your expectations, identify your goals, and determine a pace that feels comfortable and productive for you. I want you to feel heard and understood while also having the opportunity to explore new perspectives and make meaningful changes. When helpful, I may offer exercises or homework between sessions so you can continue practicing what we discuss in therapy in your everyday life.
I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and strengths-based perspectives. I also incorporate trauma-informed care, recognizing how past experiences can shape the way we think, feel, relate to others, and move through the world.
Whether you’re experiencing anxiety or depression, navigating a difficult transition, working through relationship concerns, or addressing trauma or substance use, we’ll work together to identify approaches that fit your needs. My goal is to help you build on your strengths, develop practical tools, and create a life that feels more cohesive, balanced, and aligned with what matters most to you.
I have 19 years of experience in the mental health field and earned my Master of Social Work degree from the University of Georgia in 2007. Throughout my career, I have developed a strong interest in helping individuals navigate life’s challenges, strengthen relationships, and find healthier ways to cope with difficult experiences.
My clinical focus includes anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, ADHD, substance use concerns, relationship difficulties, family challenges, grief and loss, and major life transitions. I also support clients navigating maternal mental health concerns, infertility, women’s issues, identity concerns, and end-of-life experiences.
My approach draws from evidence-based and strengths-focused methods, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), motivational interviewing, narrative therapy, attachment-based approaches, problem-solving therapy, and Seeking Safety. I also incorporate mindfulness and solution-focused strategies when appropriate, tailoring our work to your experiences, strengths, and goals.
I believe meaningful progress happens when clients feel supported while developing practical ways to apply what they learn in therapy to their daily lives. My goal is to help each client feel more connected to themselves and others, build resilience, and move toward a healthier and more fulfilling life.
