I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who believes that therapy can be a meaningful space for healing, growth, and rediscovering hope. I strive to create a comfortable, judgment-free environment where you can feel safe sharing your story, reflecting on your experiences, and exploring what you want for your future.
I believe in caring for the whole person. Your mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being are all important parts of your overall health, and I consider the different aspects of your life as we work together toward your goals.
During our first session, you will have the opportunity to share your story, talk about what you need right now, and explore what you hope to accomplish through therapy. We will work at your pace and identify goals that feel meaningful and realistic for you.
My approach is strengths-based, collaborative, and tailored to your individual needs. I draw from approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, and Relational approaches.
I believe you have strengths and abilities that can help guide your healing. My role is to support you as you discover those strengths, develop healthy coping strategies, build resilience, and work toward becoming the most authentic and fulfilled version of yourself.
I have four years of experience supporting individuals and families across different settings, with specialized experience providing direct clinical services to Latino individuals, families, and groups. My work has allowed me to support people facing a wide range of emotional, relational, physical, and life-transition challenges.
I earned my Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Texas. My areas of experience include anxiety, depression, panic disorders, OCD, relationship and family concerns, trauma, grief and loss, stress management, identity concerns, women’s issues, maternal mental health, infertility, chronic health conditions, and end-of-life care.
I draw from a variety of evidence-based and integrative approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Narrative Therapy, Problem-Solving Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Relational Therapy, Strength-Based approaches, Attachment-Based approaches, Behavioral interventions, and Behavior Modification.
I also have experience incorporating family-focused approaches, including Multi-Systemic Therapy (MST), when appropriate. I tailor the therapeutic process to each client’s unique circumstances, culture, strengths, values, and goals.
I am especially passionate about creating a supportive space for Latino individuals, families, and groups. I understand the importance of honoring each person’s individual story and the cultural, relational, and personal experiences that can shape their journey.
My goal is to walk alongside you without judgment, provide encouragement and practical tools, and help you develop the skills and confidence needed to navigate life’s challenges. I believe meaningful change is possible, and I am honored to support clients as they build resilience, find healing, and move toward the future they hope to create.
