Philosophy

I believe that therapy is a collaborative journey—one where we work together to better understand your experiences, build on your strengths, and create meaningful change. My role isn’t to “fix” you, but to help you reconnect with the resilience, insight, and courage that are already within you.

I approach each session with compassion and curiosity, using evidence-based tools like CBT, DBT, ACT, and attachment-based therapy to support your growth. Whether we’re addressing anxiety, depression, anger, grief, or navigating life’s transitions, my goal is to provide a space where you feel safe, heard, and respected.

I also believe that change happens not just through insight, but through action. That’s why I focus on helping you develop practical skills you can use in your daily life—tools that empower you to move forward with clarity and confidence. Above all, I see therapy as a place to explore, heal, and grow into the fullest version of yourself.
ExperienceI bring a diverse range of clinical and professional experience to my work as a therapist. I have worked in private practice supporting families, children, adolescents and adults navigate challenges like anxiety, mood disorders, substance use, and life transitions. My clinical training also includes internships at Serenity House Counseling Services, where I offered individual and group therapy for clients navigating addiction and recovery, and at Northwestern Medicine’s Behavioral Health Services, where I worked with both adolescents and adults providing individualized outpatient care.
