Some students can’t get to therapy after school—transportation, work schedules, caregiving, sports, or limited availability make it hard. That’s where we come in. The Student Success Program brings secure, high-quality therapy into the school day so students can meet with a licensed clinician during study hall, lunch, or recess without disrupting academics.
Built for Schools
- We supply the tech: If needed, Mentella provides the partner school with an iPad pre-configured with HIPAA-compliant software and secure connectivity.
- Minimal lift for staff: One point of contact, a private room, and basic Wi-Fi. We handle scheduling, reminders, and parent communication.
- Intraprofessional Consultation: With consent, our clinicians can collaborate directly with school counselors, social workers, or psychologists—aligning strategies and supporting existing student support teams.
How It Works
- Warm Handoff: School staff submit a secure referral (with parent/guardian consent).
- Fast Match: We match the student with a Mentella therapist and set goals.
- On-Campus Session: The student meets privately during a free period (study hall, lunch, or recess).
- Ongoing Support: Therapist coordinates—with consent—simple strategies for teachers and follow-up for parents.
